So a previous two summers ago, i took my youngest kid who was twelve at the time to my local haunt Wollongong's South Beach.

We stayed there for a few hours and then started heading back home, and as soon as we got near Lang Park my daughter said she wanted to play on the swings for a while, so i said sure.

Now i hadnt had much sleep the night before (maybe two hours tops; i grapple with chronic insomnia on a regular basis) and to say my tank was running on empty is an understatement, but you cannot say no to ya kid for a simple request like that, and she was old enough to go herself while i sat in suv overlooking the play area and having a vape and chill.

My daughter was on one of the two swings and this other kid was on the other swing, and i noticed one of the two dads leaning on the swing was Alexander. My kid stayed on the swings for like twenty mintues straight and his kid moved onto another swing.

I thought okay twenty minutes is enough im really tired and im gonna go see my daughter and tell her we need to go.

So here i am walking toward the swings, Alexander was so caught up in deep conversation with his mate there that he hadnt noticed his kid was on another swing nearby and him and his mate were still there, next to my kid, having a chat. So he looked at me then the swing area where it was only being used by my kid and must have thought: Oh shit, we better move! xD

That really made my day as, even though he is a tough ufc world champ, he is still a decent bloke with down to earth good values. Stay humble champ!
